Ravi V. Melwani was born on 15th October 1966. At the age of 16, he embarked on a journey of achieving success. Kids Kemp, Big Kids Kemp and finally, the fantasy land of Kemp Fort, Ravi set the trend of bringing hospitality, entertainment and retail together. Moving from one milestone to the other in a short time, Ravi V. Melwani made millions after millions in this achievement of success through his retail empire, thus creating one of India’s largest success stories in modern retailing.
At the age of 30, he pondered “Is life all about making millions?” From 1996 to 2006, his mind was engulfed in a constant battle of thoughts: whether life should be about “Making Money” or “Making A Difference”?
Finally, after 10 years of struggle, he experienced his life-transforming change into RVM – the caterpillar Ravi V. Melwani transformed into RVM – the chrysalis. A new personality took over from Ravi V. Melwani, transcending and moving into a much more beautiful life a life beyond all achievement, a life of fulfillment.
RVM lived from the age of 40 to 48 pursuing his humanitarian, Inspirational and spiritual goals. He believed that he was the happiest man and life would go on and on until one day, the spiritual grace created the curiosity in him to ask the following questions:
All these questions pushed RVM into a quest, a Talaash, to find the deeper meaning of life and to get answers. A staunch devotee of Lord Shiva for 40 years, fasting every Monday, RVM was blessed with all the answers, he relentlessly searched for, in less than 2 years. He realized the true meaning of life. With this self-realization, RVM then metamorphosed into AiR (Ravi V. Melwani) - living as soul and not the Body, Mind & Intellect.
